Beautiful Star quilt block |
The Beautiful Star quilt block is easy to make. I thought this was a good chance to use the purple feed sack fabric I had as my background. The pattern has been too big for most of the other blocks so far.
To make this 6" finished block, you can download the templates here. The block can also be found in Electric Quilt's BlockBase program as #3893.
To put the block together, I sewed it into the sections shown at the right first.
Then I sewed the center together as shown below. Lastly, sew on the remaining two pieces.

What a beautiful version of a beautiful block! I have been wanting to start following along with your NC blocks...and I think today is the day to put that plan into action :) Thanks again for doing this, you're offering a wonderful resource! xx
ReplyDeleteWhen I try to open the pattern, Google Drvie tells me I don't have access.....
ReplyDeleteI am glad to find this block. I have a House of White Birches Inc. from 1979 with pictures of different blocks but there are no measurements or directions. Again Thank you.
