Pot of Tulips quilt block

Pot of Tulips
August 1, 1933-Nancy Cabot introduced her pattern for the Pot of Tulips quilt in her Chicago Tribune column on this day.

She said this single potted tulip design would "produce quite as charming an effect when used for pillow tops as for quilts."

Nancy also suggested using " a wide range of colors and striking color combinations."

I have not been able to find any examples of quilt blocks, quilt patterns or quilts using Nancy's Pot of Tulips block. I guess it was not a popular design?

It certainly seems like it would be one of her easier applique designs.
