March 1, 1933-Indian weapons were the inspiration for Nancy Cabot's quilt block on this day.
Arrowheads is a very old pattern taking it's "inspiration from the aborigines of America" and "will appeal to the small boy with the imaginative mind," she wrote.
I used templates to make my 6" block.
The arrow pieces go together like this-
Two arrows and two triangles make up each half of the block as shown below.
